Abstract

Various aspects include wearable audio devices wearable audio devices with a control platform for managing external device interaction. In some particular aspects, a wearable audio device includes: at least one electro-acoustic transducer; at least one processor; and memory including instructions executable by the at least one processor, wherein the instructions are configured to apply a first equalization (EQ) setting to first audio provided by a first audio source, the first audio to be played using the at least one electro-acoustic transducer, and apply a second EQ setting different from the first EQ setting to second audio provided by a second audio source, the second audio source being different from the first audio source, the second audio to be played using the at least one electro-acoustic transducer.
