Abstract
The present invention provides an aluminoborosilicate glass of composition, expressed as percentages by weight of oxides, containing: 60% to 70% of SiO, 13% to 20% of AlO, 1% to 9% of BO, 0 to 3% of PO, 0.5% to 4% of MgO, 1% to 4% of BaO, 0 to 3% of CaO, 0 to 3% of SrO, 2% to 10% of ZnO, 0 to 2% of LiO, 0 to 2% of NaO, 0 to 2% of KO, 0.1% to 3% of CuO, optionally up to 1% of at least one fining agent; and optionally up to 2% of at least one coloring agent other than CuO, with MgO+BaO+CaO+SrO<6%, 0.2%<LiO+NaO+KO<2%, and BO+MgO+LiO—(BaO+CaO+SrO+CuO)<6.4%. The invention also provides an article constituted at least in part of an aluminoborosilicate glass, the article being selected from glazing and a cooktop for associating with induction heater means with infrared sensors.
