Abstract
A cover for an airbag device disposed on a supporting portion including an exit opening for an airbag, which is covered with a cover component. The cover includes a cover layer applied to the supporting portion and the cover component, the cover layer being weakened along a weakening line in or near a hinge region of the cover component.
