The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical or food composition comprisingpretreated extract exhibiting an excellently enhanced pharmacological effect thanextract prepared by a conventional common extraction method ofand extract prepared withsingle herb medicine, or a method for preventing, improving or treating gastritis or peptic ulcer using the composition. In addition, the present invention relates to a preparation method ofpretreated extract which is characterized by pretreatingwith a non-polar solvent and extracting it with a polar solvent.
