Abstract

A portable video display device includes a sensor that detects a position and a direction of a user, a trajectory information acquisition unit that acquires information of a migration trajectory of the user; a storage unit that stores trajectory information of the user and information of an avatar, and a display unit that displays the migration trajectory of the user with the avatar. A control unit generates an avatar, calculates a current visual field area of the user using the sensor, and displays the avatar on the display unit so as to be disposed in the migration trajectory of the user according to the current visual field area of the user based on the trajectory information of the user stored in the storage unit. When the avatar is moved along the migration trajectory of the user, the avatar is moved from new trajectory information to old trajectory information in time.
