Abstract

An active matrix substrate includes a glass substrate, a plurality of pixel electrodesarrayed in a matrix, a plurality of TFTs, a plurality of common electrodes, a terminal groupprovided at one end of a Y-axis direction on top of the glass substrateand constituted by a plurality of terminalsandplaced along an X-axis direction, wiresthat electrically connect the terminalsto the TFTs, and wiresthat electrically connect the terminalsto the common electrodes. The terminal groupincludes a center terminal group, constituted by a plurality of the first terminals, that constitutes a center portion of the terminal groupin the X-axis direction, and end terminal groupsL andR, each constituted by a plurality of the first terminals and a plurality of the second terminals, that constitute both side portions, respectively, of the terminal groupin the X-axis direction and in each of which the second terminalsare each disposed between two of the first terminalsadjacent to each other.
