Abstract
A cooking system for a space restricted environment includes at least one cooking unit having at least one cooking hob movable between a stowed position and a deployed position such that in the stowed position the cooking hob is located either behind or below an corresponding surface of a countertop, cabinet, wall or the like and in the deployed position the cooking hob upwardly extends through an opening in the corresponding surface.
