Abstract

Various embodiments of a method and apparatus are disclosed. A higher MTU (Maximum Transmit Unit) between a network Core and the eNBs of the network are configured, as well as in wireless RAN segments. These MTU are dynamically adjusted to allow for the most efficient the packet-sizes according to the UE capabilities and Radio-conditions.
