Abstract
The invention relates to an electronic smoking device () with an atomizer/liquid reservoir portion () and to a method for generating vapor to be inhaled, by atomizing liquid, wherein the liquid is atomized by heating. In order to avoid that the liquid is overheated, the invention provides that the temperature applied for atomizing the liquid is controlled by controlling the pump rate of a liquid pump () of the electronic smoking device ().
