Abstract

A main object of the present disclosure is to provide a novel cathode active material that can be used in a fluoride ion battery. The present disclosure achieves the object by providing a cathode active material used in a fluoride ion battery, the cathode active material comprising: a composition represented by PbMF, in which M is at least one of Mn, Fe, Co, and Ni.
