Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a method of extracting and labeling connected elements in images, and more particularly, to a method of detecting connected elements formed as pixels are connected to one another in images and assigning label numbers thereto. A method of extracting and labeling connected elements of images of the present disclosure has the effect of improving productivity by quickly and effectively performing detection and grouping of connection element objects in an image and assigning label numbers thereto by using a small number of operations. A method of extracting and labeling connected elements of images of the present disclosure has an effect of accurately extracting and labeling connected elements without an error even when the shape of the connected elements of an image is complicated.
