Abstract
A composition for forming a coating film containing fine fibers, imparting an excellent durability to an obtained coating film. The composition for forming a coating film includes the following components (a) and (b): (a) one or more oil agents selected from the group consisting of ester oil, ether oil, hydrocarbon oil and higher alcohol; and (b) a fiber, at 0.5 mass % or more and 10 mass % or less based on the total composition for forming a coating film, the fiber having an average fiber diameter of 0.1 μm or more and 7 μm or less. The relationship [(average fiber diameter)/(fiber content)](μm/mass %) in the composition is 0.005 or more and 7 or less, and the mass ratio of the component (b) to the component (a), (b/a), is 0.005 or more and 5 or less.
