Abstract
Disclosed is an electronic device comprising a display, a processor operatively connected to the display, and a memory which is operatively connected to the display and the processor and stores a first application. The memory may store one or more instructions which, when executed, cause the processor to: control the display to display a first user interface based on the first application being executed; based on an input for selecting the first user interface being received, filter device information and function information for at least one Internet of things (IoT) device which supports a function associated with a first function provided by the first application, on the basis of IoT device information registered in a server and IoT device information supported by an application; control the display to display a second user interface including the filtered device information and function information for the at least one IoT device; and based on an input for selecting a first IoT device from among the at least one IoT being received through the second user interface, configure a second function of the first IoT device, which is associated with the first function, to be operated.
