Abstract
A battery cell includes a housing, an electrode assembly, and an electrolyte solution. An accommodation cavity is formed in the housing. The electrode assembly is disposed in the accommodation cavity. The electrolyte solution is disposed in the accommodation cavity. An electrolyte retention coefficient a and a packing fraction b of the battery cell satisfy the following relationship: 2≤a/b≤3, and the electrolyte retention coefficient a is in units of g/Ah.
