Abstract

Disclosed is a device for purifying or disinfecting contaminated air in an environment comprising a filter stack comprising a HEPA filter coated with a nanopolymer configured to puncture virus particles, a light chamber comprising UVC light source and an ion generator, where in the device is configured to take in contaminated air at the top of the device and expel purified air downward and away from each end of the device.
