Abstract
A cartridge for an aerosol-generating system is provided, the cartridge including: a liquid storage portion configured to hold a liquid aerosol-forming substrate; and a heater assembly including an electrical heating element configured to heat the liquid aerosol-forming substrate to form an aerosol, a capillary body configured to convey the liquid aerosol-forming substrate to the electrical heating element, the electrical heating element being disposed at a porous end surface of the capillary body, and electrical contacts connected to the electrical heating element, each electrical contact being disposed at opposite sides of the porous end surface, such that the electrical heating element extends between the electrical contacts and forms an electrical connection therebetween. An aerosol-generating system including an aerosol-generating device and the cartridge is also provided.
