Abstract
An electronic cigarette () includes an atomizer () having a coil-less heating element () with a heating section () connected to an electrical power source and two end sections in contact with a liquid supply (). The heating element () is made of one or more woven fiber tubes () having a hollow interior such that the liquid can be transported from the liquid supply () to the heating section () through the hollow interior along the woven fiber tubes () or through the fiber materials via capillary action.
