Abstract

Methods and systems are provided for bridging for mobile communications systems. A system may include a first bridge node that may include a first bridge transceiver configured to communicate with a plurality of cell signals, and one or more circuits configured to associate with each cell signal, a corresponding first bridge link carrier frequency in a first bridge link frequency band, a corresponding second bridge link carrier frequency in a second bridge link frequency band, and one or more second bridge nodes. The first bridge transceiver may communicate with one or more second bridge nodes associated with a cell signal, at the first bridge link carrier frequency associated with the cell signal. The one or more second bridge nodes may communicate with user equipment at the second bridge link carrier frequency associated with the cell signal.
