Abstract

There is provided a method of controlling a robot, which is performed by the robot that travels within a space. The robot identifies a person to be rescued, among persons within a space, by using a camera while travelling within the space, determines a distance between the robot and the person to be rescued based on depth information that is obtained by the camera and that is associated with the person to be rescued, and transmits information including the determined distance to a control server for the space.
