Abstract

A method for attaching a number of unique identification codes () from a set of unique identification codes () to a number of objects, wherein the unique identification codes () differ from one another, wherein the unique identification codes () form a predefined code sequence which defines a first unique identification code () and a last unique identification code (), wherein the method contains the following steps: attaching the number of unique identification codes () from the set of unique identification codes () to the number of objects, with the result that one unique identification code () is attached to each object (); optically detecting a unique identification code () from the set of unique identification codes () with the aid of a detection unit () and detecting an item of additional information; inferring the attached unique identification codes () on the basis of the optically detected unique identification code () and the detected item of additional information.
