Abstract
One aspect of the present invention relates to a carbonaceous material which has a benzene adsorption of 25 to 40% and a vitamin B12 adsorption of 13.0 to 50.0 mg/g, while having a pore volume of mesopores of 0.070 to 0.150 cm/g as calculated from a nitrogen adsorption isotherm by means of a BJH method.
