Abstract

A method for managing an emergency state of a first vehicle, implemented by a remote server. The method includes: receiving an indication of the emergency state of the first vehicle; estimating a first geographical area in which the first vehicle is able to be positioned for a given time period; and sending an alert message to at least one detecting element, positioned at a traffic lane, said at least one detecting element being able to be positioned in the first geographical area for the given time period.
