Abstract
An example operation may include one or more of receiving, by a document server, a document from a document owner node, the document contains restricted access segments, splitting, by the document server, the document into a plurality of ledger entries to be stored on a blockchain, updating, by the document server, a ledger entry of the plurality of the ledger entries based on a proposed change to the document made by an authorized participant node, committing, by the document server, the ledger entry to the blockchain based on votes collected from a plurality of participant nodes, and sending a notification to a set of participating nodes of the plurality of the participant nodes authorized to view the document.
