Abstract

One or more examples relate, generally, to reducing error in estimated angular position of a rotor of a motor. In one example, a method comprises generating an error signal indicating error in the estimated angular position; determining an adjustment amount associated with an estimated torque-producing component of motor winding current of a stator of the motor; generating an adjustment signal corresponding to the determined adjustment amount; and combining the error signal and the adjustment signal to generate a corrected error signal.
