Abstract
An aerator () having a housing () and a jet-splitting device () arranged or formed in the housing () for splitting an individual jet into a plurality of separate liquid components. The aerator () has at least two flow channels (), which are oriented obliquely in such a way that the outlet directions () defined by the flow channels () meet each other. An insert part () is inserted into a hole () in the main body () of the jet-splitting device (), which hole is oriented in particular in the longitudinal direction of the housing (), such that the hole () is divided into the at least two obliquely extending flow channels.
