A hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process index (ID) for transmission of the uplink data is based on: the number of consecutive slots for the transmission occasions within the period, and an offset for the transmission occasion of the transmission occasions within the period. The offset is based on an order of the transmission occasion among the transmission occasions within the period.
