Abstract
Disclosed are an electrode assembly, a manufacturing method thereof, and a lithium secondary battery comprising the same. The electrode assembly for the lithium secondary battery includes an electrode, a separator, and an opposing electrode, wherein the electrode has a structure in which an electrode active material layer is formed on an electrode current collector including an electrode current collection substrate and a tab extending from the electrode current collection substrate, an insulation film is formed on some or all of at least one surface of the tab, and the insulation film is an organic-inorganic hybrid film including inorganic particles and a binder polymer.
