Abstract
A brake operating arrangement () comprises a cam member () operable on a brake mechanism () for braking a wheel (). The brake mechanism () is movable between a braking condition and a non-braking condition. The cam member () is rotatable to move the brake mechanism () to the braking condition. The brake operating arrangement () further includes a drive member () movable in drive and return directions; and a ratchet mechanism () to rotate the cam member () when the drive member () is moved in the drive direction.
