Abstract

An anchoring system () including a suture anchor () and an implant delivery device () is disclosed. The suture anchor () includes an anchor body () and a distal member () that is rotatable relative to the anchor body () about a longitudinal suture anchor axis. The distal member () has an aperture () that traverses the distal member () and includes a slot () and an eyelet (), the eyelet () being sized to permit a suture () to traverse the distal member () through the eyelet (). The implant delivery device () includes a handle portion (), a drive shaft portion () including a cannulated outer shaft (), and a suture pulley shaft () including an inner shaft (). The cannulated outer shaft () is configured to engage a proximal end of the anchor body () for driving the suture anchor () into a bore. The inner shaft () is slidably received in the cannulated outer shaft () to maintain the position and tension of the sutures () during insertion.
