Abstract
A skimmer () for aquariums comprises a base () and a container () which is provided with at least two lateral connectors () which comprise a main connector () and an auxiliary connector (). The skimmer further comprises a cup (), in which the foam is collected. The base comprises at least four openings, a first opening () and a second opening () opening inside the container () and being connected to a third opening () and a fourth opening (), respectively, so that the skimmer can operate at least in two different configurations: a first single-pump configuration and a second double-pump configuration.
