Abstract
A stand mixer includes an outer casing and a mixing motor disposed within the outer casing. A motor shaft is coupled to the mixing motor such that the motor shaft is rotatable by the mixing motor. A heatsink is mounted on the motor shaft such that the heatsink is in thermal communication with the motor shaft.
