Abstract
Systems and methods described herein can involve managing volume management information indicative of a relationship between an application and a volume used by the application; for receipt of a first request to make the application ready for takeover to another location, updating the volume management information to indicate that another volume of the another location is associated with the application. For receipt of a second request to conduct volume attachment for the application, the systems and methods can involve identifying one or more volumes associated with the application based on the volume management information; and attaching an identified volume from the identified one or more volumes to the application.
