Abstract

The invention relates to a sensor assembly () for detecting rotation of a shaft about an axis of rotation (), said sensor assembly having a housing () in which at least one magnetic field sensor () is arranged. The at least one magnetic field sensor () is designed to acquire a variation in a magnetic field generated by a magnet device () in the sensor assembly (), which variation is associated with the rotation of the shaft about the axis of rotation (). A shield device () arranged on the housing () is provided to shield the at least one magnetic field sensor () from the surroundings () of the sensor assembly (). The shield device () can be removed from the housing (), with the shield device () being retained on the housing () by means of a latching connection.
