A toroidal continuously variable transmission. A power roller () of the transmission includes a power roller inner ring () sandwiched between both disks (), a power roller outer ring () provided in a trunnion () and rotatably supporting the power roller inner ring (), and an inner ring hole () provided in the power roller inner ring () to extend in an axial direction of the power roller inner ring (), in which an end surface hole () communicating with an inner ring hole () is provided in an inner end surface () of the power roller inner ring (), and the end surface hole () is closed by a closing member () separate from the power roller inner ring ().
