Abstract

A ceiling fan having a motor assembly that can be secured to a structure, for example, by a downrod and a hanger bracket assembly. A light kit can optionally be carried by the motor assembly. The motor assembly can include a housing to which can be integrated or attached to a blade hub. Blades for the ceiling fan can be mounted to the blade hub.
