Abstract

A marking element () for the labelling of a textile, wherein said marking element () comprises an adhesive layer (), a reinforcement fabric () and a printable layer () which forms an outer surface () of the marking element (), wherein the said outer surface () is thermal transfer printable and/or digital printable and wherein the fabric () is embedded between the printable layer () and the adhesive layer (), wherein the fabric () is a porous fabric () having a thickness of at most 1000 μm and in that one or both of the abovementioned layers () extend at least partly through the fabric () in such a way that the said layers () are in direct contact with each other and method for producing such a marking element ().
