Abstract

A rubber plug supply apparatusaccording to the present invention includes a supply device, a sensor, an orientation correction device, and an accommodation assistance device. The supply deviceincludes an accommodation portionaccommodating a rubber plugand a discharge port, from which the rubber plugis discharged. The sensordetects the orientation of the rubber plugsupplied by the supply device. The orientation correction deviceincludes an accommodation holeaccommodating the rubber plug, and changes the orientation of the rubber plugto a predetermined orientation in the case where the orientation of the rubber plugdetected by the sensoris different from the predetermined orientation. The accommodation assistance devicemoves one of, or both of, the accommodation holeand the discharge portto move the position of the accommodation holewith respect to the discharge portat least between a first position Pdirectly facing the discharge portand a second position Pshifted from the first position Pand facing a part of the discharge port
