Abstract
The present invention relates to a method of placing an artificial valve in a blood vessel of a mammal patient. The method involves placing the artificial valve into the blood vessel. The artificial valve comprises a casing and a closing mechanism, with at least part of said closing mechanism being a first moving part which is adapted to make movements relative to the casing to assume an open position and a closed position for opening and closing, respectively, a blood flow through a blood vessel of the body, as well as positions between said open and closed positions.
