Abstract

The present invention relates to a superconducting electric machine () comprising an inductor () having: —superconducting pellets () circumferentially distributed about an axis (X) of the electric machine (), —an armature () comprising coils (), each coil () having a circumferential radially inner edge () and a circumferential radially outer edge (), and—at least one flow barrier (') extending circumferentially with respect to the axis (X), each flow barrier () extending between the superconducting pellets () and the armature () so as to at least partially cover at least one of the radially outer edge () and the radially inner edge () of all or part of the coils () of the armature ().
