Abstract

An air conditioning apparatus with a refrigerant circuit includes a connecting portion to which a first electric wire and a second electric wire are connected. The first and second electric wires are connected to corresponding first and second devices of a plurality of safety devices. The plurality of safety devices includes at least two types of a refrigerant detector, an alarm device, an isolation valve, and a ventilation device. A circuit configuration portion forms an interlock circuit with the first electric wire and the second electric wire connected to the connecting portion. A first member enables formation of a first circuit including at least part of the circuit configuration portion and not including both the first electric wire and the second electric wire. A controller prohibits an operation of the air conditioning apparatus when no current flows through either the interlock circuit or the first circuit.
