Abstract

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to reporting preconfigured uplink transmission failure. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the terminal device logs failures associated with transmission on the preconfigured resources and failure causes. The terminal device transmits the logged information to the network device. In this way, the network device is aware of the failure occurrences and their reasons. The network device is able to use the information for configuring uplink resources more efficiently and the resources can be efficiently allocated for other purpose or other terminal devices.
