Abstract

A method of processing a part includes: identifying () a location of at least one hole () disposed in the part using a computer-aided design (CAD) model of the part (); aligning () the part in a mounting system (); 3D-scanning () the part (); detecting () at least one boundary feature of the hole () based at least partially on at least one datum from 3D-scanning () the part; and generating () a first toolpath () based at least partially on the boundary feature.
