Abstract
Provided are an ink jet recording ink including an organic solvent which is at least one selected from the group consisting of a compound represented by Formula 1 and a compound represented by Formula 2 and has a Clog P value of 1.0 to 3.5, resin particles which contain a resin having 1% by mass to 20% by mass of a structural unit represented by Formula 3 with respect to a total mass of the resin, a silicone-based surfactant, and water, and an image recording method.
