Abstract

A polyethylene powder having a viscosity-average molecular weight of 200,000 or more and 10,000,000 or less, wherein complex viscosity under predetermined conditions for measurement of slurry viscoelasticity satisfies the following formula (1): −≤ (|η*|(T): an absolute value of complex viscosity (Pas) at T, (T): an absolute value of complex viscosity (Pas) at T, T: maximum temperature (° C.) within a range in which the formula (2) is satisfied, T: minimum temperature (° C.) within a range in which the formula (2)) is satisfied: d(log|η*|)/dT ≤−() (|η*|: an absolute value of complex viscosity (Pas), T: temperature).
