Abstract
A lens barrelcomprises a substantially cylindrical first lens group unitthat holds a lens L, and a substantially cylindrical front frame unitthat is disposed in a state of being close to the outer peripheral surface side of the substantially cylindrical first lens group unit. The first lens group unithas a rectilinear keythat protrudes outward in the radial direction on the outer peripheral surface of the lens Lon the image plane side in the optical axis direction. The front frame unithas an inside diameter that is smaller than the outside diameter of the first lens group unitin the portion where the rectilinear keyis provided. The first lens group unitand the front frame unitare formed so that a gap is formed between the outside diameter of the first lens group unitand the inside diameter of the front frame unitat a position opposite the rectilinear keyin the radial direction.
