Abstract
A seal element for providing a seal in a wellbore comprises a bonded seal with profiled surface that extends beyond a surface of a sleeve that includes the bonded seal with the profile surface, wherein the profiled surface of the bonded seal is to face a surface of a housing to form the seal, wherein the bonded seal with profiled surface has an asymmetric shape that comprises a back angle that is an acute angle.
