Abstract
A method for irrigating aplant is disclosed. The method comprises, before a pruning of theplant, providing water to theplant at a first rate. The method comprises, performing said pruning of theplant. The method comprises, before said pruning, in a time window that extends from one hour before said pruning to one hour after said pruning, changing the rate of water provisioning to theplant from the first rate to a second rate, the second rate being lower than the first rate. The method further comprises, after said pruning of theplant, providing water to theplant at the second rate for at least 15 minutes.
