Abstract
A machine tool () includes: a front spindle () having a front chuck (); a rear spindle () having a rear chuck (); a controller () configured to cause the rear chuck () to perform a fastening operation for fastening a work (W) fastened to the front chuck () to the rear chuck (); and a detector () configured to detect an abnormality caused by the fastening operation by the rear chuck (), based on measurement data associated with a vibration of at least one of the front chuck () and the rear chuck ().
