Abstract
Propeller shaft has boot member () whose one end is fixed to sleeve shaft () and whose other end is fixed to stub shaft (), and boot bands () fixing boot member () to sleeve shaft () and stub shaft (). Protrusions () fitted in respective fitting grooves () formed on outer circumferential surfaces of sleeve shaft () and stub shaft () are provided on inner circumferential sides of one end and the other end of the boot member (). At each of sleeve shaft () and stub shaft (), first outer diameter section () having diameter larger than an inside diameter (D) of protrusion () is provided at one side with respect to fitting groove (), also second outer diameter section () having diameter larger than an outside diameter (X) of first outer diameter section () is provided at the other side with respect to fitting groove ().
