Abstract

Included are: a CO2 adsorberincluding a plurality of adsorption passagesallowing exhaust gas to flow through and an adsorbent, on its wall surface, capable of adsorbing and desorbing CO2 depending on a temperature, and a heat exchangerincluding a plurality of heat exchange passagesallowing the exhaust gas to flow through, being disposed in contact with the CO2 adsorber, and, when the exhaust gas flows through the heat exchange passages, transferring the heat to the CO2 adsorberfor heating it while removing the heat of the exhaust gas. The numbers of adsorption cellsand heat exchange cellsper unit area in a transverse section C are each set to a predetermined number and/or the sizes of the adsorption celland the heat exchange cellin the transverse section C are each set to a predetermined size.
